Quietest tires for ISx50?

I have General Exclaims with 4,000 miles on them and they are very quiet for now. It's fairly easy to find tires that are quiet when new, but the key is to find one that is quiet after they get some miles on them, especially on a car where you can't rotate.

I have 255/35/19 FK452's in the front and they are reasonably quiet at highway speeds. They are louder when you are driving slow ~25-45mph. I never hear any road noise from the rears which are 255/45/19 Continental Contisports. I'll have to try them on the front next to be sure.

Check out the Bridgestone Potenza RE760s. They are sooo quiet compared to my old RE 50s. They are uhp - read reviews & ratings & comparisons on tirerack, etc. because they will describe better than I would. I was looking at Ventus V12s and I chose this instead.
I'd say the only downside is less sidewall stiffness than my RE 50s such that I lost that steering response-on-rails feel I had before but the ride quality is so much improved I don't care. They also kick *** in wet conditions.

The 760s came in 4th place... 2 spots worse than the V12s overall....mainly falling behind in wet performance. the Invos also mentioned finished near dead last (8th place of 9)...the KDWs mentioned come in 5th overall, and are the loudest too...

The 760s and V12s tied here for quietest of all tires tested.. (as did the Yoko S.drives, which otherwise deliver a 6th place finish).
They didn't test the Michelin Super Sports (they're fairly new) but they did test the PS2s... which lose the V12s by a little bit, including being louder.
So... yeah.. V12s.

Woop you're right Kurtz. I forgot how quiet the V12s are as well. Being in NYC and all I ended up choosing the RE760s for their comfortable ride vs all the other tires (my old tires felt like they were jarring my car apart - re760s are night&day different). I figured since they have the 3rd best lap time in the car&driver comparison + "sufficient" wet handling it's a go. Can't go wrong with v12 either... there are soo many people who recommend them.

I like what you said.
We have been driving on the old tire of which its compound has already been harden up over time. Then an hour later at the tire shop, we drive off with fresh and soft compound of the new tire. It would make huge different.

I currently own both the V12's on my Volk CE28ns 19"
And also own Nitto INVO's on my Wedsport TC105n 18"
Both sets of tires have less than 1000 miles and the Invo's are alot softer on my ears! The V12's have major Tramlining issues. This is a first hand comparison between the Falken 452's and the V12's. The V12's are great in the rain tho.

C&D actually compared the same size of both, measuring dB and found the Invos significantly louder.
I have the V12s in 18 BTW, no noise (or tramlining) issues...
Not sure why you talk about V12 and Invos the whole post and then state it's a comparison between V12s and Falkens though?
