Target, Walmart, etc.

I've used Magic Eraser on plastic trims before to get rid of scuff marks. While it did remove most of the scuff marks, I could see a slight "haze" around the area where the mark used to be. This was caused by the Eraser itself, which basically is a stiff sponge with a lot of micro grooves on. Wasn't completely happy with the result but it was better than replacing the whole trim itself on a less-than-two-month car.

Now, I'm not sure wheather or not you'll have the "haze" after you remove the marks (since obviously you are going to be working on a different surface) but it is a much cheaper solution than asking the professional to do it. I'd say try it and be very light with it at first (you need to soak it in water first). If you don't like the result, you can always ask the professionals to do it for you.

i'm a little Old school when it comes to this things.
i use a Rubbing compound, something that you can buy in Walmart, Target etc.

and as Gymniac suggested, if you don't like the result, then take it to a professional
you can't do anything worse anyway.

Rubbing compound and polishing compound should do the trick.
