Default Looking at an IS-350 good deal?

Hi all, I'm going to take a look at this 06 IS350 tomorrow.

http://mcgrathaudi.com/Glenview-Chic...k-Car/2957984/

Can anyone tell from the pics if it has the ML sound system and rear camera? I also looked up the service history, anything look suspicious?

Thanks for any input.

By the pics I can tell it doesn't have ML sound system. If it has navigation, it has backup camera.

It also doesn't have sports or luxury package. It comes with premium package which only has heated and aired leather seats and wood trim. It might have hid lights as that is a stand alone option but you'd have to turn them on to see.

Price seems good but definitely can talk them down maybe 2k as it is far from loaded with the lowest package (premium) and average miles. It's also missing GFX body kit and spoiler. Does have OEM 18" wheels tho, up from 17"s.

Actually you know for sure it doesn't have HIDs... they weren't available as a standalone option on 2006 models....they were only included in the sport or luxury packages, which that car doesn't have.

no memory seats, no HIDs, for 2006s

It's 07-10 models where it's available as a standalone option... easiest way to tell on those is check for the AFS ON/OFF option in the multi-function switch menu.

Based on the vin from your previous post the car does come with nav/rear camera but no ML audio. Aside from that it's a pretty base IS350

Welcome to the CLUB and you won't regret the buy! The only thing you will regret is joining this forum as all the sexy 2IS on here will suck you into an never ending mod cycle.

Looks like it has a camera but no ML. It's a bit pricy still for an '06. I got my '07 IS350 almost a year ago for $20,300. It has just 6k miles than yours but no NAV. Negotiate with them if you can or wait for more options although it's kind of hard to find IS350s for sale in Chicago. Most are IS250 AWDs.

Looks nice, people above have already gotten the options or lack thereof identified.

I will say that I think the price is high for a non-CPO 2006. About 8 months ago I got my 2007 IS350 with 56k miles on it CPO with nav, backup camera, luxury package, F-Sport exhaust and ISP wheels, all for $24,500. If I were you, on a 2006 that will be out of even powertrain warranty relatively soon, I would look for a CPO. Not sure how hard they are to come by in your area, but it looks like your car hasn't had the cam gear TSIB done for example. That's not unusual, most start having it around 50-70k miles, but by then you might even be out of powertrain warranty and the repair is $1500. Also I know 2006's seem to be known more than other years for nav screen failures.

I would start here and check for all the issues listed: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...tart-here.html

I paid $4k less, and got a 350 with <31k miles...and it has NAV and the sports pkg. You can find much better!

Thanks. I was big into the IS line when it was just the 300, but opted for an E55. Now I'm ready to hop back on the train

Very good! I waited 5 months until this deal I came across...I couldn't past it up. If I had waited one more day it would have been sold!
