Default White or black plastidip wheels on SFP?

Thoughts?

My emblems are black in the rear, and the front emblem and grille surround is white.

any pics of white plastidip wheels in general? or at least black plastidip wheels on SFP? oh, the interior is ecru, which is basically white as well.

Thanks!

I've been toying with the idea for a while but never gone through with it. Would love to also see some PD'ed white wheels!

I would think that white Plastidip would be very hard to keep clean and white...Especially on wheels. I've never used plastidip though, so I could be wrong.

how about this idea: black plastidip as primer, then bronze paint?

would love the look...but seriously risky on a leased car.

and blue

I think the chemicals in the paint would dissolve the PD...

yea bronze would be tight, if it doesnt react with PD. Its prob be harder to removed PD with paint on top.

I did the Plasti-Dip as primer, black wheel paint, and clear coat. It's removable but takes a bit of time to remove. All my friends love it and when someone I knew bought a new Lancer, he bought his car over and we painted his wheels with Plasti-Dip and then bronze over it. I had repainted my wheels like 5 times due to curb rash and random stuff. I would not recommend you do Plasti-Dip alone on the wheels. I did that first and the Plasti-Dip would get dirty fast, hard to clean, and then lose color eventually.

Edit: Here's a big tip to remove Plasti-Dip with paint on top, I saw my friend using gasoline with a towel to rub off the paint. I thought he was crazy but it instantly removed the paint while I was still trying to peel it off by hand. It does magic and just be sure to get regular gasoline, my friend pumped premium since he's used to for the IS to realize he spend extra on nothing lol.

the car is leased, are you 100% sure there are no worries that i could bring the wheel back to stock?

...i heard that rustoleum metallic bronze is good,as show in the g35 forum link.

any suggestions for the clear coat? did you tape up the inner barrel of the wheel?? how did you go about dealing with air nozzle?
