I just switched from mobil 1 to motocraft synthetic blend 5w-20 and oem filter for my 2006 is350. It says Ford on the container, is that formulated for Ford vehicles only? Have any one every tried Motocraft oil before?

Yeah, made by WIX, those'd be fine...

One interesting thing, a guy on my.is found that TRD makes an oil filter that works on the 2IS... and it's synthetic media.

This might allow folks who run 12-25k mile changes once a year to only have to change the filter once/year too... (As always UOA will be the best way to tell how long is ok).
