Garax vs. MTEC D4S

Garax vs. MTEC D4S
So I just contacted a seller on EBAY and this is what he had to say about MTEC vs. Garax.
I asked: "Dear auto-perfect,
I see that your ebay sotre is called MTEC Automotive, but I noticed that you do not offer D4S bulbs that are MTEC, only Garax. Do you carry MTEC bulbs, and is there any significant difference between the two (quality, light output, etc)?"
His response:
"Yes, I have both brands in stock. I just have not listed MTEC D4S bulbs for sell yet.
Actually, after testing, the light output is almost the same based on the same color temp.(K). The quality, MTEC one will be a little better based on our experience."
Good to know I guess. Has anyone else come to the same conclusion that MTEC is better than Garax?

I have a reliable source that told me Garax and MTEC are made by the same manufacturer/supplier. You can look at both bulbs side by side and you won't see any difference other than the brand name stamped on the bulb's base.

Quick question for other 2011 owners.
What color temp would you go with? 8000K to make the LEDs stick out more because of the contrast, or 6000k so that there is less contrast between the lights making the LEDs look less yellow?
Or would you care more about the functionality of 6000k vs. the looks of 8000k. I know this is mostly matter of opinion, but opinions are welcome here
