Default Fading on SFP from roof vinyl

Has anyone experienced this first hand? Any risks involved? What type of residue is left over upon being removed?

(Cars a lease, so i must ask).

yeah i had 3m vinyl on my SFP for about 3 months, however when i removed it, it left a yellowish haze from the adhesive, it was wasnt really a pain to remove ( i used light rubbing/polishing compound ), it was just a time consuming thing to do....

I'd imagine it'd be like claybarring tree sap off you car, which is easy but doing it to the roof may be tricky.

Why not as long as its reversible? It's not like people who mod the cars that are bought straight out are keeping the mods forever either.

b/c my lease payments are about the same as an accord...and i only have a short window of time to have a car while im outside of NYC. so im taking this time to enjoy myself in having a car...and being able to mod it. all mods are a waste of money, whether you own or lease, so what difference does it make? things that are reversible are more lease friendly, which is why im considering spending 80 bucks on the material, and doing the work myself.

does anyone have advice on how to lay the material out around the shark fin???
