Oh, if it has luxury package it has memory seats and automated steering console. Only missing/unknown is ML and radar cruise control. See if you see a mark leviston stamp below the load button.

For that price if you don't buy it PM me, its cheap enough to justify shipping to CA, might just buy it for my brother

That's hella cheap! For it to have all those options for $12k makes it sound too good to be true.. sounds too fishy to be true. 122k miles I don't consider high for Lexus, these cars can go for a long time before having mechanical problems if all the scheduled required maintenance are done. Why are selling it so cheap? They are a dealer so they should know the value is a lot higher than they are selling it at..

I would never buy a luxury brand vehicle with over 100K miles but that IS looks like the owner took great care of it both exterior wise and mechanically.
I'd say go for it but get it checked out by a mechanic or Lexus service dept. It's worth a few dollars to do so.

During my test drive i took it to my mechanic who works for Milham Toyota and he fully inspected the car and he said the car has been well maintained and gave me the green light to go for it. I also noticed that it was inspected by Lexus on 5.19.11 I know that was 3 months ago but I dont think nothing has happened since that. The mom /pop shop buys the nicer looking cars that the dealers would otherwise auction due to high mileage.

Unless it's a salvage title, buy it, that's a steal. Hell, even if it is a salvage title you could likely part it out for more than 12k given how stupid expensive Lexus parts are.

Sounds like you've already made up your mind, and I agree with the above that it sounds like a good deal.

This thread may be of help to you, it explains common issues you want to look out for on used 2IS: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-threads.html

For a car of that mileage, the only thing I'd add to the list in the above thread is water pump.

Also, spark plugs should be changed at 120k miles. Has it had that done yet? It's quite expensive unless you do it yourself, so I'd look into that.

Thats a great price assuming it drives well. 122k isn't to much by any means on a lexus. I;de go for it.

Sounds like a good deal. The only other 2ISs I say for <$15k was either in a wreck, salvage, or had MORE miles. DO IT!
