Given the subtle changes in body style over the years, that car looks late model (from the pics anyway). Good for you for taking a chance.

For sincityIS - 1/2 of the original life for 1/3 of the original price is a steal!

Please don't flame, but I am usually against the idea of buying a 6 year old car with over 120k miles. That averages to more than 20k miles/annually, which is above average.

With that said, the car does look good. And you got it already, so this is probably a bit late. And, above all, you LIKE THE CAR, which is what matters the most! Good job!

Agree. I keep all my cars at least 3-4 years so I've never bought a car over 50k miles minus my 1987 Honda Accord I had for a beater. But buying a car with 100k+ miles for a beater is ok. But hey looks like he's making good progress with this so

Wow looks like we have a sour member......(sincityIS ) hahahaha

Find me a clean IS350 with any miles for under 16k.............

I got mine with 122k for 12k, clean, one owner, all maintenance done at the local Lexus dealer, never in an accident, fully loaded (except ML system).

Its a weekend car I use it once a week at the most sometimes it just sits in my garage a few weeks at a time because I am a very busy individual.

So with all this said if I had purchased the same car with half the miles say for 24k I would be 12k short on my bank account and at the end of the day it would be the same car. If piece of mind would cost me and extra 12k I think that would be the dumbest thing ever!

I am so happy with my purchase I can spin like a top, this with an extra 12k in my savings to boot!

By the way 122k miles is nothing on a Toyota and I had many Toyota's with high miles, fact is my dd is 99 Corolla which I purchased a few years back with 89k miles for $1,300 from its original owner which now has 191k miles!!! All I have done to it is change brakes and tires!!
I am sure my 350 will go beyond that!

But thanks for your views which I don't share, I rather save my $$$ and not throw it away on the poorest investment a man can ever owe......a common car.

I'm glad the car is working out for you! I probably would have done the same thing.

Wow, I can't believe that car is nearly seven years old with over 120K on the clock... People say my car (nearly six years, ~64K) looks good for its age, but she shows much more signs of age than yours. The headlights are beginning to get microscratches/cracks and fog up, the front end has taken a beating with rock chips and bug splats (shoulda gotten a clear bra).

And all for $12K? So yeah, very nice find.

Default Paint

I am considering having the front bumper painted because it is the only OEM part of the body that shows signs of wear.
