IS250 not starting
So I got a call from my girlfriend's friend who owns a 2006 is250 awd. She told me her car isn't starting and she towed it to the dealership....
I asked her what they said was wrong with the car and she said her service advisor said the ground wire to the battery is bad and it'll cost her $120.00 to fix.
I'm planning on driving over there after work today to take a look at it. What do you think could be wrong with it? I was thinking maybe just the terminals but I'm not 100% without checking the car out.
Thanks

It could be either end of the negative battery cable...The end attached to the battery or the end attached to the frame. Either can be replaced, or just replace the entire cable which will come with the ends already attached.

Well I didn't have time to check her car out today, but I did call her Service Advisor and asked what was wrong with her car. From what I got out of him it sounds like there's some corrosion. I asked him what they were going to do for $120.00 and he said they were only going to clean the ground wire LOL
Thanks for all the help! I'm going to take a look at her car tomorrow and clean it up.
