I have one of those "floating key" garage door openers, and all my other family's lexuses see the signal the first try, except mine. Is there any secret to get these cars to see and be able to open my garage door? I followed the instructions in the owner's manual to a T, but no dice.
Thanks

Thanks for everyone's help. I don't have a stand alone remote, but I do have a keypad outside my garage. I took that off the wall, held it next to the homelink and pushed the homelink button I wanted programmed until it "fast" blinked. Then, I pushed the learning button on the garage door opener (Genie) through the sunroof while I was in the garage. Then I pushed the homelink button once, then twice. It finally worked! My weekend was a success!
