First off let me say thank you to lots of ppl here on CLub Lexus... Without you I would have not been so motivated to get this aftermarket subwoofer installed.

-Took the day off today and installed the 10" JL W7-3, and just decided to mount the amp on the box. It is built to spec according to JL's website, an addition was added on the end to fill the rear rectangular space of the IS trunk. If any of you are intrested in the plans and measurements I do have them out in the garage.



Here is the box to get a good idea of how it was done.



Now I am thinking its too loud.... or im getting old , I installed the RBC Bass **** and all the way down it was still slamming. I adjusted the amp according to JL at 28V, The gain is up about 1/10 Im thinking Im just going to turn it all the way down.

I had some JL W7 on my previous car and it was lovely. I always wanted subs for the my IS but it weighs so much! 2 13.5 W7 will turn the 350 from a 13 second car to a 15 second..

looks nice. if you think thats loud, try 2 12" power T1s. I can only turn it up half bass and my rear view mirrors cant stay still. by the way, anyone know any solutions to this? lol

looks pretty good! I have a Alpine type x 12 from my previous car that I'm thinkin bout putting in. gotta find a box that'll help me save my trunk space though. Saw one on ebay but I couldnt justify paying 300+ for a box
