Default Can I fit a boxed 47" flatscreen HDTV in my IS250?

Planning to go buy a flatscreen TV and wondering if anyone was able to fit a boxed 47" in the back seat?

are you talking about LED or LCD? LED is much smaller and yes you can fit in in the back seat with your driver seat down. I unboxed my and put the tv in there. the box is flatten out so i place it in my car. if you need the box you can take it out and "unflat" it when you get home

Doubtful either would fit, even without the box. Try measuring...

Yeah... I don't think so. With the box it's Way too big....

Maybe 37-42" without the box, but for 47" you gotta bring an SUV haha...

I clicked in here thinking it was a rhetorical question.

One thing to remember : Most TV manufacturers reccommend shipping the box in the vertical upright position (not laid down flat). It will even warn you on the box itself. I know its just a warning, and some people don't follow it, but its something to consider.

Same here. It barely fit.

I should've put a towel or something against the backside of the front seats because the TV box ended up scratching them.
