Default Reappling glue to doubesided tape?

So I installed my GFX spoiler on my car by the tape method only. But 2 days later noticed that I didn't sit it correctly and now is separating on the bottom above the L emblem.

I bought some new 3M tape and was going to remove the old ones and replace it. But since the spoiler came with OEM tape that is molded/cut to fit the spoiler, I was wondering if its possible to reapply glue instead? Otherwise, I'd have to cut the new tape to shape and I think it'll be hard to do it precisely. Comments? Thanks

You can't reuse doublesided tape. You will have to take off the old tape and put on new tape. Are you talking about the trunk spoiler (I'm assuming this one because you said above the L)? Is it aftermarket? Maybe that's why fitment is a bit off?

Its an OEM GFX rear spoiler from Sewell. When I taped it down, I sat it not flush against the trunk. It should have been sat more inwards. So its got good tape on the top, but not rear about the L emblem because its not touching the trunk even, on that rear part. I guess I'll take off the old tape. I just don't know if I can hand cut the new tape to the shape of the spoiler.

^^^ you will have no problems cutting the tape evenly with an x-acto knife
