What a coincidence lol, as I just joined too, and yours is the first post I've read, and... I'm here because I have an RX-8 and I'm wondering if it's time to move to something quieter and more luxurious (but still fun).
Can you share a little more about your feelings on making the change? Any regrets? Do you miss the RX-8's handling and uniqueness?
I dearly love my 8, but I'm just trying to come up with a Plan B for whenever I need to move on. The IS250 seems like a relatively similar car, though with more emphasis on luxury.

Haha yeah definitely! I can honestly say that I'm glad I made the change. I mean the rx8 was a great car and the handling and sound of the rotary engine is very unique. I loved the rx8, but as you said I felt like it was time to move on to a more luxurious car. The Rx8 really did have great handling, but the is250 is definitely on par. It may be because my Is250 came with the f sport springs and shocks but it feels verry responsive. One thing about the lexus, though, is the lack of power. It definitely is much more quiet and there is also not as much pull as an rx8 has. All in all, I'm happy with the lexus and meets all my needs. VERY luxurious with aggresive handling and a beautiful car. So, if you decide to switch over, it would definitely be worth it!

Haha, I was actually really thinking about it. Does it make an big difference in handling? Also, when looking at sewell parts online. Would I buy the set or would i have to buy the front and rear sway bars separately? If you could give me more info thatd be great! My IS is RWD btw.
