Hello lexus owners!!
I am a new member at club lexus and recently got a 2009 lexus IS250. I had a mazda rx8 but decided it was time for a luxury sedan. Getting in and out of the 8 got annoying -_-. I've had the car for one week and am loving it.
Also, are there any local meets in Los Angeles, or San Fernando Valley Area? Thanks guys!

Congrats! I'm in the same boat with a whole 4 days under my belt. Love the car but I've GOT to do something about this road noise. I came from an LS that was like driving on a cloud so it's gonna take some mental resetting and some different tires.

Congrats and welcome to CL. I'm on week number four and loving it. I used to have an 04 BMW325 convertible, the cool factor was there but the maintenance cost killed me. I sold it and bought the 07 IS250 RWD. I love many things about the car and one of the most pleasant surprises was last week I drove from Lafayette, LA to San Antonio, TX and got 480 on a tank! Awesome MPG, just awesome!

Can you share a little more about your feelings on making the change? Any regrets? Do you miss the RX-8's handling and uniqueness?
I dearly love my 8, but I'm just trying to come up with a Plan B for whenever I need to move on. The IS250 seems like a relatively similar car, though with more emphasis on luxury.
