I just finished installing my interior and trunk bulb LEDs.
In the trunk light assembly I used a festoon adapter and 6 LED panel from VLEDS.The area is tight for a board/panel but I was able to tuck the panel under the festoon adapter piece but it's flush against the plastic lens.

Any problem with that or will there be a problem with the LED panel?

I have been using it for over year and haven't have any problem yet. May be later, whose know!!!!

Been doing the same thing with no problems. I've also left my trunk open for 8+ hours (car shows) and no signs of damage on the inside of the lens.

I have a 6 LED panel in my trunk light for over 2 years now with no problems. LED's don't really run hot and with normal use, that light really won't be on for more than a few minutes at a time.

Good to know.I thought the LEDs would burn out because of the lack of any air space.

Even our 12-SMD LED wont have problem with it too
