with this swap, your car would probably be deemed less reliable than every single new car offering today, regardless of manufacturer. if youre going to take on the risk of doing any sort of swap, why not do something worthwhile that REQUIRES customization, not something that is already mass produced and readily available....idiot....
Wow... Really? Read my op and decide if you really need to call me an idiot. I just asked one simple question. I live where it is snowy and awd is usually a good option for snow. Sorry I asked this question about a Lexus on a Lexus forum.
Please don't reply to any of my posts. I DO NOT want or need your feedback.

Oh BTW, Its not ThermonMer, its Thermometer....idiot....

Just trade in for new car. Just think about how much it cost you to mod it to be AWD?

I really don't see why everyone's getting all negative and hostile bout it anyways? Bc really not everyone has 45k to throw down on a new 350. And some ppl probably already did a lot of mods to their current IS, their motor could be going to ***** and want to swap in another motor. So now that the 350 has Awd and someone with a beat down 250 motor or someone that might just want more power may wonder if the swap is possible? I was simply wondering bc i saw a few ppl post already that they are having issues in their 100k+ 250s. I'm sitting a lot 46k now and have a 3 year warranty or 100k miles whatever comes first.

To each his own bro. If you do the research and its possible and the cost is significantly less than buying a new 350 I would do it just to **** off all the haters that's against ur idea.

It would probably cost you more in parts to do this, than just to buy a new IS350 AWD
