Can you explain in more detail where this bumper is for the fenders?

Let me clarify, the bumpers adjust the hood so it is the same height as the fenders. This sometimes has to be adjusted when installing an aftermarket fiberglass hood. The fender, for all intents and purposes, is in a fixed position.

A professional can move and shim a fender but it shouldn't be attempted by a hobbyist.

vi3t80y, glad you were able to get the hood aligned with the fender.

I know this is an old thread, but this post eased my mind today. I noticed my hood wasn't at the same level as fenders and I was going crazy until I saw this. Thanks!

Every single is I have seen has the same missaligned hood with fenders.

Bringing the rubber up wil fix it but will cause more gap with the front bumper.
Rather leave it as is then increase the bumper/grille gap.

Good find! I noticed this the other day also and will have to try adjusting that piece. Now im just curious as to how or why that piece was adjusted in the first place....
