What about top of the line Accord V6 with nav or something?

Thanks again.
I almost got a fully loaded 09 V6 Accord coupe. Its fast and is available with a stick shift too. Not as fast as an IS350 but fast enough. However, I hated the seats, really uncomfortable.

if you're getting a tl, i suggest getting a type s or not at all. a tl will feel terrible to drive after having a 350. g coupes are pretty nice i guess. I've driven my friend's 2010 g37s multiple times, and its really nice. only downside was the response of the throttle. too big of a delay.. thats just my opinion

The biggest difference between the IS and TL for me is the FWD vs RWD, which I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned. In my opinion, the driving experience is far less exciting and rewarding with a FWD than a RWD. Especially with a hotter TL like the A-Spec, all you're doing is throwing even more power through the same front wheels you're steering with. Torque steer sucks. You'll have to determine this for yourself with a test drive, but I drove both and the driving dynamics between a 300 HP RWD IS and a 300 HP FWD TL are night and day.

I think you'd be better off comparing a G to an IS. I compared a G37 to an IS and the IS won hands down, but your decision might be different. There are a few threads already on CL comparing these two.

What about for the snow? Will FWD be better than RWD? Right now the G is looking good to me.

Snow, I would have to say front wheel drive man. Honestly, I would take the AWD if you are they involved with snow. To me, I don't like the 'Honda' feel of an Acura. When I drive them, it just feels a little cheap sometimes.

As far as GS350, should be able to find something used.

I would search this on CL, as there have been countless threads on FWD vs. RWD (check the Buyer's Guide thread in the 2IS FAQ for links). However, I can tell you a few things:

1) In my personal experience, all else (tires) equal, I found FWD to be better in the snow than RWD. You will likely find debate over this, but here's the one indisputable fact...

2) TIRES make a much bigger difference in snow handling than drivetrain does. A RWD with snow tires will handle in every way, shape, and form better than a FWD with all-seasons or summer tires.

Why not a Subaru Impreza or WRX? It'll be different and fun. Plus, the exhaust sound on a WRX is hawt!

I don't know about your area, but I'm finding a few Evo X's and Impreza WRX's around the 25K range where I live. Those are AWD cars and are great for driving in the snow. Between your options, I'd go with an Infiniti G, either that or the TL are reliable cars and provide enough power. I'm looking into a second car for the winter and for driving in bad weather and I've narrowed down my options to an Evo X, 335xi, or C300.
