Tired of all those rock chips?

Tired of all those rock chips?
I have had a Black IS300 for five years and recently bought a white IS350. As every IS owners goes through, the rock chips that comes with the soft metals of Lexus will endure a crap ton of rock chips over time. My old BO IS300 and current SFP IS350, I use and will continue to buy the Dr. ColorChip paint kit!
Honestly, this stuff is the BEST and though while you are in front of your car staring down you will see the markings of the rock chips filed with paint, from a few feet away YOU CAN'T SEE NOTHING! Pretty much you have to be looking for the rock chips.
I'll add some photos tonight but I just wanted to say it is worth the investment. No more shiny metal filling up your bumper and hood and it also fills small scraps and scratches to.
You won't need anything more than the $49 kit and that kit (if kept in the house out of the garage) will last you FOREVER so don't buy a huge amount of the stuff.

It's worth it IMO! Let me know if you have any questions, I have been using it for three years.

it works better on dark colours than light
it'll pass the 10 foot test but up close, the chips are there. Better to get a clear bra for your hood before it looks like the 'before' pic...

When I still had my BMW 325Ci, I drove over a over-sized parking stump, when I backed out I nearly pulled the the front bumper off...I cringed as I was expecting a hefty repair bill but as I brought it to a body shop the guy just drilled a few holes from the inside and screwed the whole thing back together...Looked like new. And the best part, he charged me 65 bucks. Bring your car to a body shop and see what they can do for you.

Clear bra is noticeable, but not at every angle.
The first pic you really can't see it. The second picture you can see the line more pronounced. Third picture you can see the line pretty good on the fender.

Bumpers already painted from Lexus aren't to expensive. On my IS300, Lexus here in Atlanta only charged me $600 to have the the hood and fenders sanded down and repainted when I purchased a new bumper from all the rock chips (and paint over spray from the Interstate being painted). If you can start using Dr. ColorChip in the beginning then its worth it. If you have 1000000000000 marks, I'd vote for a professional paint job or new part.
