Im trying to get my wheels done in a black chrome finish
Two options to go about doin it, one is to get it SBC, which involved chrome plating and is tedious and expensive. The other option is getting it painted in Black Chrome, which is cheaper but wont be as durable

Now my issue is that here in the UAE nearly no one does chrome plating, there is this one place that i hear about it and will check out but most likely Ill gonna go down the paiting route (due cost and quality).

Now most paint shops that ive asked about black chrome have given me a "wtf is that.." response so far, but we will see

Also for black chrome, better to go down teh powder coating route or painting?

Has anyone gotten their rims painted black chrome before? If so how has it held up?
Also id like to see pics if this exists

Are there any reasons why i should not do it?

The shop Autocrap might not have the paint, usually they are just talk. Have you contacted them lately?

yea i did they dont do it, i also contacted polimar and guess what? he was a *****.

Apparantly there is a place behind habtoor, and another one in shj. Maybe west coast customs can do it if they are still around

lol Polimar, that's even worse than Autocrap.

Westcoast Customs has been shut down for years now lol.

I think you should buy the paint.

im worried about buying it online, because i wanna see samples before i commit. Painted black chrome doesnt look as good as nickel plated. It could turn out crap. Im gonna check out a few places that some evolver guys heard about. Ill let u know
