The way I drive daily (90% highway 65-70mph), I really think I should be over 30mpg.
My 390+14 isn't bad though, compared to some that sit in traffic.

I'm coming up on my 60K maintenance. Hoping that will give me the little bump over 30.

^ that's what i said. i used to get about 14mpg in the city and 21mpg during the freeways until today. i decided to see if i can actually achieve 400 miles per tank after seeing the thread here so i took it slow and cruised at 70 mph and my average started to slowly climb up. i was at 29.7 mpg and was hoping to go over 30 but there was a truck to my right sending me presents (sand.. rocks..) so i had to floor outta there and my mpg dropped down to 29.2! i'm hoping to go over 30 mpg on my way back!

Too many factors go into how your gas mileage turns out. A heavy foot, driving up hills, shifting the car at higher RPMs, having an AWD, using cheapo gas/non-premium, engine wear, city driving, extra weight in the car and so much more that makes it all different lol.

My record is 487.4 miles / 15.049 gallons = 32.4 mpg on a roadtrip from PA to NC in my 250. I'm waiting for someone here to crack 500 miles! I could've safely done it on that tank because I still had 2 gallons left. But the most I've ever used was 15.869 gallons before I chickened out (only 447.7 miles on that tank).

I pretty frequently manage to get about 30+ mpg out of my 350 in highway driving. Cruise control, going about 70-75 mph.

EDIT: This is going both by an approximate calculation from the tank needle and miles driven, and going by the LCD's value. Both gave me about the same number.

That's crazy! I drive exactly 70mph on flat terrain with no traffic, 90% highway at least, and still can only get around 400.

Pics or it didn't happen....

The OP was 439.
I stated I drove 390 miles + 14 left on my range on my tank.

reading comprehension > you.

That wasn't my picture (where it was 390+14) nor post.

This is.

The final algebra was 407mi / 13.98gal when I stopped to fill up.
