hey you guys i have some thing that is driving me crazy......when i say crazy i mean crazy happy.
i have been driven my is250 on the back roads the last two nights on my way home and for some reason people think i have my brights on and bright light the crap out of me. it makes me happy cuz my stock lights kick *** there so bright that people think there my bright lights . just wana know am i the only one that gets bright lighted from people that cant tell there not my bright ?

Maybe you headlights aimed too high? The cutoff line should be way below other drivers eyes..

Yeah I get that too.... But more so since I installed my Garax 6000k bulbs. My factory hids were older though so were at the end of there life and probably not as bright as yours.

Surprising I get it from a few bimmer drivers who lights are really annoying. I like it when I high beam them back and then they see what blinding really is...lol

Lower them lights... LOL I did the same, got tired of people flashing me, specially around Jville, NC where everyone thinks just because your lights are a bit brighter you got your high beams on... but like Sean said, I love to flash them back and show them my highs :P

I hate driving on freeways here in texas, because every redneck in a lifted truck doesn't think to reaim his headlights (or aims them higher) and blinds me through my side mirrors. It's really annoying considering my HID's are aimed at -15* ish

If you've got an excessive number of people flashing you, I'd highly recommend getting your headlight aim checked. The bi-xenon HID lights have a shutter that flips into place in low beam mode that provides a sharp light cutoff - and is supposed to keep the light from hitting other driver's eyes. kumquatism said it well -- a good lighting system won't be blinding other drivers.

To the guys getting flashed are you lowered? I' m also getting flashed, but only after i dropped it, i'm thinking a pothole must have knocked the aim out of place?

Nope. No one flashes there high beams at me. But I have stock bulbs. I could see if you have HID's 6kish..... a friend of mine headlights are super bright quater mile down the road.

Nice! I'm installing my 2 kits this weekend and I'm hoping for the same blinding brightness! (but aimed correctly).

One of the big issues I have is people installing the aftermarket HIDs in non projector type lamps. The glare is so terrible. Heck, the ones with 8k's look sooo bad too.

yea if multiple people are flashing you, its not a good thing. They are probably annoyed at you

The other day when I was driving at night, I was thinking to myself how our lights are aimed too LOW from the factory! I Need to raise em up a little. Haha
