I was on a freeway around Houston, yesterday, and had my first actual live sighting of an IS-F. It looked pretty hot - a silvery color, like my 350. But, it didn't look that fast, so I was in the left lane, and he was in the center lane. We got it on!!! We raced for a few miles. First, he pulled away a little, but I caught up quickly, and held my own. Then, I pulled away a bit, but he caught me. Toward the end of the race, though, I left him in the dust, because my lane allowed me to get into third gear for a few seconds!!! D*** Houston traffic.
OK, guys. Obviously, 41 or so, of the 44 who have replied, so far, are complete idiots. This post was just to say I saw my first IS-F, and an attempt at humor. What part of "third gear for a few seconds" did you not comprehend? A few miles...third gear for a few seconds...obviously (to someone with at least an average IQ) this "race" lasted for many, many minutes in rush hour Houston traffic. Of course, we were really NOT racing.
Hah I'm skeptical too, but Ill point out that from a dig the 350 will beat the F 0-30mph due to the gearing. After that say good bye hah
+1. With all bolts on and some weight reduction, the 350 can hold its own against a bone stock IS-F. Modded IS-F.. fahgettaboudit
But I find it funny that the BMW 335 can easily be faster than a M3 with a tune. Maybe that is why BMW is stepping it up with a turbocharged V6 M3 in 2012..
