Ok. I have a problem with them now LOL. I still need 3 more wire harness with resistor ( they only sent me 1). 2 inner lamps and right outter lamp has the same output when I brake. Only the left outer lamp which I installed their included wire harness w/ resistor does NOT have any problem. I already email them to send out those extra harness right away. When you do order these taillights, be sure to ask for extra harness with resistor.

UPDATE: look like both of the outter lamps work just fine but i can't get the inner lamps to light up when i hit the brake. Is it should be like that ? Can anyone confirm ? Btw, i already uploaded it on youtube. Search for "2008 Lexus IS350 LED tail lights". Purpose of this video is to confirm the lights are functioning properly qnd understand the quality is not that good since i'm recording with my iphone.

Also my v-leds order came in today so I tried them on as well. I'm kinda disappointed at v-leds front map 6k white leds.(http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...-p4481039.html) . They're not as bright as my HK led bulbs (6K as well) but price is almost twice the hk bulbs (http://www.wardenjp.com/1wled78.jpg) .

Another issue with v-leds is I have a very hard to time fit those flank bulbs into the rear mirror vanity lights.

Here few pics:
I tried the VLEDs LEDs you used first and then went with these high power 5K's from VLEDs in the front dome which were better.
Also the oem rear festoons are 29MM and you probably used 31MM and that's why youhad a hard time with the fit in the rear dome.

Tail lights look great! I like how it's similar in design to the center brake light. Hopefully you get all the kinks worked out.

Unfortunately, you picked just about the worst LED you could for the front dome light. You should have read my LED replacement guide. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...de-w-pics.html

The ones I recommend are easily 10x as bright as the ones you used.

Those LEDs aren't ideal for the front dome either. You want downward firing LEDs because radially firing LEDs cause shadows within the housing and the light is wasted.

31mm festoons fit perfectly into the rear festoon area btw.

Search eBay...
Works for me,B.
I didn't want too bright and the ones I chose were better to my liking that the ones he used that I tried first..
The rear domes are 29MM.A 31MM will fit but the 29MM pops right in.I read of some problems in the '10's&'11's with the remotes locking and unlocking using 31MM so I figured I'd stay with the 29MM and don't have any problems.
I tried the 31MM in the trunk light that calls for 29MM and that was tough.I went with the 6 LED panel and the adapter was a bit shorter.Maybe a 30MM and it's tight but works well.

^ Whatever floats your boat. 31mm pops right into the rear dome area as well since there is plenty of space on the sides. The problem some 2010+ users are experiencing, I believe, has been narrowed down to the HP (high power) lineup, and it's probably related to the special circuitry they use. The current workaround if you're having that problem is to remove the the festoon from the slot closest to the front of the car. I know they're working on a permanent solution too.

As for the trunk, it's actually a 27mm festoon bulb, which is a very rare size. I've had the best luck using boards/panels and then hammering in the connector to the correct size.

I really just wanted to get away from the ugly yellow and didn't want to go too bright.
I emailed Bill at VLEDs and he has a new line of LEDs that he says don't cause any problems if there was one.
Maybe the 29MM I used aren't high power but they're white and good enough for me.
I even go 5K because I don't want the slight blue tint of the 6K.

That trunk bulb changeover to a 31MM was just about impossible. When I got it to work, the switch wouldn't work and it would go out when putting the assembly back.
The 6 LED panel with adapter works pretty well but using the on and off switch is a bit tougher.

^ I don't even bother with the trunk light on and off switch haha. It turns off automatically when you close the trunk and draws very little power even when lit. The best application for the trunk lightI've seen is from the LED boards Nigel sells. You can remove the spring from the festoon adapter and then cut the plastic inside for a near-perfect fit.

I'm probably going to leave the switch on.My luck is when I need the light and put the switch on,it won't work.
I looked at your thread and we have the same trunk light set up.
The Nigel set up is probably better but the 6 LED is ok for me.
You going to go with the Nigel set up?

Your set up and mine for those interested.

OP, question the bulb in the vleds link is what you put in the dome? if so you chose the wrong bulb, you should have gotten the forward bulbs for the dome, the dome is at the top of the car you dont need radial type lights:

Inner lens should light up when you hit the break.

Sorry for the confusing guys but i'm talking about the side mirror lights ( puddle lights ?), mine is just too long to fit in.. I read your thread brociouz but i don't like to spend over $10 for the led from v-leds while you can pay half of the price for same or better output but to each of his own, everybody has different thoughts. I bought my tail lights from racerinnovation and they came with 1 harness and 1 harness with resistor in it and those harnesses are for the outter lamps if you don't know.. And those who installed the resistor and still have error code, try to reset your ECU.
