Oil Maint Require warning light
my IS250 just passed 12,000 miles and this light came on. I called up dealer to schedule a visit. they told me since i just had an oil change at 10k miles, i will only get the "required service" the car needed, meaning checking various fluid level and brake pads, replace carbon filter, test drive, and etc, but no oil change. that runs about $108. the indicator light clearly states requires oil maintenance, but the lady took down my appointment strongly disagree, it's kind of funny cuz i will be paying for the oil change any way. but $108 for that bunch of bull crap minus the oil change seems steep to me. i may very well just have someone reset the warning light and go in for a real oil change later on.

Also, don't ever let them charge you $108 to "check things" and "test drive". That's code for "let the car sit on the lot until the owner returns".
Seriously though, unless you're having issues, no reason to pay $108 for them to check nothing. At 12k miles there's no need to check pads and fluid levels unless you track it constantly. Filter replacement takes 5 minutes and costs $20 to do yourself.
And for future knowledge, this advice applies to all your future maintenance intervals as well. Only go in and pay for things you actually need done - oil changes, brake fluid flushes, spark plugs. Don't get "the __k service package", which they'll say includes checking and test driving and all that, because it's unnecessary and makes it cost 10x what it should.

Just have someone reset the light, and keep your own records of oil changes.
