2012 IS350 Ultrasonic Blue Special Order
Hey guys,
I was looking for this car all summer and wasn't able to find it. No dealership was taking any special orders so I had to wait for 2012. So I spoke to a few places, they said it would take about 3-4 months for a special order. I got a price of $47,675 that includes the NAVI, F-Sport Package, Preferred Accessory, Parking Assist and TTL. Do you guys think I can do better, if so what # should i counter him with?? I don't believe it comes with the ML system, do you think maybe I can tell him $47,000 including the ML system?
Thanks

If thats the price with the COMPLETE F-Sport package, I'd say its a pretty good deal for a brand new 350... mine had about that same sticker price for a brand new 2010 with navi, luxury package, and f-sport wheels & suspension only (includes rims, springs, shocks, n sways) for like 48k msrp, (ofcourse thats not the price i walked away with lol...) but yea.. 47k for a 12' with a complete f-sport pack is about right (still push for the ML too, why not hah)

Hmm, in Cali, the same F-Sport car (the config should be the same), is about $45.8K sticker.
ML? Very good option too, if you are willing to wait (may take longer since it would be a one off type configuration) and counter with like 46.8K since ML is about 900-1K extra.

Since that includes TTL, I'd say that's not bad.
The MSRP for the 2011 IS350 F-Sport I got was like $43,700-ish or something but I think the price for 2012 IS350 went up slightly.
Some of the 2011 IS350 F-Sport package cars apparently did come with the F-sport aftermarket parts like the exhaust and/or lowering springs on it according to a few people who got it here. It doesn't sound like those are included in the car the OP described though.

I didn't get the ML, they wouldnt go down in price for it. It was very hard to negotiate for a car that they didn't have so there was no leverage. Car includes the Navi, F-sport package, park assist, preferred accessory. The sales manager was very quick to agree to 47k total for everything, so the selling price was 43,200 b4 ttl. I think I should have said 46,700.

You can always add the F -sport aftermarket parts to the car, which is probably what they did. But that'd cost extra (on the sticker price. After negotiation is another story). I don't think those cars had those parts come with the F-sport package for free.

As for ML, for 2011 (at least for the region I'm in), you couldn't get ML with the F-sport package. The two packages 'conflict' in the dealership ordering guide. Does anyone actually have a F-sport package car with ML?

Don't 2nd guess the price. When the car arrives you won't care. Special ordering cars is a great way to go when you know exactly what you want. I did it 3 years ago and am happy I did.
