If you have halogens, then your low beams are H11. The tiny lights are called parking lights and they are T10/168/194 size. Your fogs are 9006 and your high beams are 9005. Now if you have HIDs, then it's D4S for your low beams. Factory HID color is about 4300k.

Also depends on the year of your car as well.

If it's the 2011, it slightly be different and a few others if applicable. Ie. Fog lights are H11.

Stock headlights are 4300K. 6000K or 8000K will never in from factory since they are not DOT compliant.

Awesome, thanks a lot for your help, is there any way to tell without taking the whole headlight assembly out?

One more question sorry, are the puddle lights on the mirror the same 190 bulb as the parking lights?

Not exactly unless you want to physically remove them to check them out, but for sure they should be 4300K, new from the factory unless you got yours used and possibly the first owner changed them.

T10/168/194 is used on puddle lights on mirror, door courtesy, mirror vanity, front dome and reverse lights.

Thanks a lot guys, Im new to the lexus world. Just got an 08' IS 250 and im trying to do some basic upgrades. I had a Mazda 6 and by the time i sold it i knew how to take it apart blindfolded so hopefully Ill be up to par doing work on this car.

Basically the whole reason i was asking was because I am trying to get rid of the dull yellow looking fog lights and want to match them to the low beam lights that I have. I looked at some pictures of comparisons and I dont think the owner before me changed the lights because they match the results I found for 4300K. That being said, what do you guys recommend for fog lights, I dont know if you guys replaced yours or not.

Do these work or anyone got any better brands? They were the first search that came up lol

Thank you Jeff, sango, and chi.

Do you guys know if these will work to replace the dull stock yellowish fog lights ? Or can you point me in the right direction if these aren't suitable ?

You could but if you want something good (I'm this to my new 2011) and willing to spend the money, the Philips HID conversion will work great.

Nigel-JDMParts is a forum vendor in Club Lexus and I have purchased Philips bulbs from him in the past (ie. Philips Ultinon).

I changed my fog lights and low beams to 5000k. For the fog lights, they are halogens. You can try those blue-tined halogen bulbs. They'll match the factory HIDs I know for sure. I had them for a while and they were 4500k or so. If not, you'll need a full HID kit, not just the bulbs alone in the link you posted. Here's some things I'd recommend.

Halogens (direct replacement to match lows, it says 7500 but it's 4500 in reality): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GP-Th...item5d3053eab7

Mod-Express HID Kit (I tried their stuff and it's great for the price, good customer service too): http://www.mod-express.com/Mod_Expre...p/me-k1635.htm

Volt HID Kit (Expensive but the best kits out there without the insane price): http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Volt-HID-4...s-p/vdp-4k.htm

If you have $120 to spend, the Volt kit is the way to go. My friend has a kit and it's just great quality. I got the Mod-Express kit and it's great for just $40. It'll be 5000k but it's close. The halogens are cheapest and will match the stock HID low beams.
