That doesn't make any sense, you can't compare this aftermarket tail lights to other makes and models using the same idea but OEM. When people say OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), they talk about the quality, not the idea.

I have nothing against those tail lights, and I agree the darker ones are much better, just saying.

Actually it does make sense when we are talking about calling this "ghetto", same idea as oem to others yet you will call this "ghetto"......the statement I put in question isn't the basis of quality but style

Pete, let's not argue over semantics please... you and Gladius are getting a bit over the top in this thread with the back and forth, may be smart to log off and come back in a bit or take it to PM

This style is polarizing and you can expect comments like 'played out', 'ghetto' and 'rice' if you put them on. Whether others like these or not isn't important if YOU really like them, but I suspect you are going to need a thick skin.

My opinion, they make the 2IS rear look like a HS.

You've already mentioned that here in this thread and others....

I was just explaining what the term "ghetto" has come to mean in today's society. If you read the thread, I never even used the term or commented on the headlights.

3. (adj.) poor; of or relating to the poor life

Out of the four I qualify for three so I guess I'm ghetto (pronounced GETT-TOE) and I'm sure proud of it. To survive the ghetto you've got to be able to survive. Heck, I've even got me a ghetto truck!

I can't STAND those rear lenses...

Saw a set on an Obsidian - makes it look like a HS. IMO it won't look too bad on black or grey, but pass on any other color.
