What is odd is that I don't see the splatter from the rain gushing in enough to form that puddle. There must have been a LOT of water in order for that to happen in five seconds. If that much water came in so fast, you would think that splatter would occur.

Another thing...is that the original leather? I'm not seeing the perforations.

Rain got on my black leather but never stained like that or at all.

FYI, perforated leather is only if you have vented and aired seats.

Love all the comments lol. Three days past and still no progress. I put on some Lexol leather conditioner and the water stain is still there. Nobody has been in the passenger seat 2 weeks prior to the incident. I guess I'm going to have to live with it. At first it bothered me but now I'm slowly getting over it.

you can try to have it dyed, to cover it. I know there is a technique where they spray the dye on. I have used that on two cars to make leather look like new and cover cracks.

You told us that there was water and it feels soft. This is natural for leather if i learned it right from jfelbab. There is nothing wrong with it. I believe the surrounding areas are dehydrated and might need some H2o. It might sound crazy but try wiping the other areas with water , other than looking odd , your seats are fine. Don't do anything to make it worse.

try contacting our CL member jfelbab , he is pretty good at this.

Doesn't look like water would've done that. Try using some leather cleaning products! Good luck!!
