Today was raining hard and as soon as I opened my passenger door a lot of rain got on the leather seat. I dried it with a microfiber cloth but now the area feels soft. I've let it dry since this morning and it still looks the same. What can I do to restore the leather to what it used to be?

The seat was fine yesterday so I know for sure it's not from any spillage. I'm speechless and have no clue how rain could have possibly caused it. I guess 2012 is approaching lol. I'm going to leave it for a couple days and if it's still the same I will try to put on some leather conditioner.

Either that or someone did not make it to the toilet on time. Do us all a favor not to be rud or anything, but can you taste it?
On a more serious note, have you been conditioning and adding water repelant (good for rainy season) to your leather. If you have not used any products to protect your leather, that might be the result. I have rain come down on my seat from time to time but never leave drop stains.
One old trick I use on small electronics e.g. cell phones, ipods, etc. to get the moist out when dropped in water, I leave in rice. Rice helps absorb moist.
If you don't want ugly stain on seat, take it to a pro.
good luck
