Default Just replaced spark plugs, now worse gas mileage?

Hey guys,

Right after Lexus installed my new spark plugs at 60,000 miles, the gas mileage of my car dropped about 2 mpg, from about 26 to 24 consistently.

Is this normal? Anything I need to reset or is the car just needing time to "get used" to the new plugs?

Thanks for any advice..

shouldnt be a factor, 2mpg is not a very big diff.. could be the fact that ur stepping on the gas a little harder.. keep driving for a few more tanks and see if it the same

Give a tank or so for engine to adapt to a new spark plugs, but it shouldn't be a factor. I just replaced mine and did not notice any drop in gas mileage, but no increase either.. Probably because of my heavy foot

There is a DIY for resetting ECU without unplugging the batt. Do a search on the forum. You only have to remove two fuses and put back in.
