Default Rims IS350

I own a 06 Crystal White IS350 RWD...I've been searching for weeks which rim to buy for my car... I have installed the BC Racing so the car is like 2" drop...it 's still very difficult because at first I though on buying the f-sport rims but after looking for several weeks I have a list of rims that I still deciding which one to buy. I want dark color like gun metal or black mate:

- F-sport Rims

- Volk GTS Phamton Edition - but is pretty expensive..

- 5 Axis super hiro

or

- TE37 - pretty expensive

Also soon I will paint my calipers which color do you recommend to paint for gunmetal rims or black rims...I am between red or blue.

I like the F-Sport wheels or the Volk te37. I also think the blue brakes would look better. Everyone has done red.

Depends what look you are going for. If you want a storm trooper kind of look, i would go with the Axis super hiro. They aren't too flashy and have a good sports feel. If you have your windows tinted it will look sick with the Crystal White.

As for your calipers, it seems as if red tends to be the most popular regardless of the car. Blue is a little less common and would be a little more subtle especially with the Crystal White. But really a preference call. Again all just my opinion. Good luck! looking forward to seeing the final product regardless what you get!

I actually like the GTS too. I am not a big fan of doing something super flashy, just something that looks good. the last two wouldn't be high on my list. But either the first Axis Super Hiro and the GTS would look good.

Do you have tints done?

In '06 if it is a 350 it is RWD. They did not make a 350 in AWD in '06 Or '07 or 08 if my memory serves correctly. I think '11 was the first year for a 350 AWD although I won't bet on it!

Well it would say AWD on the trunk. You'd also have a very large bump in the floor-pan on the driver's side. You could also look for front axle shafts from the hub to the front differential. You'd also be able to see if you have a front differential and/or transfer case under the car.

Alternatively you could look at your data tag on the driver's door jam, there will be a chassis code listed there. For the IS250, GSE20 is RWD, GSE25 is AWD. (Others include GSE21 for IS350 RWD, GSE26 for IS350 AWD, GSE22 for IS300 RWD, ALE20 for IS220d, USE20 for IS F).

There are other ways to tell too, but I think the first couple I listed would probably be easiest .

No need to be sorry, just figured I'd ask. I like the way the dark wheels look on black.
