Default ES to IS

Does anyone have any idea of the trade values for each? The ES is an 07 with 60k and attempting to look for a straight up trade? Going to a dealer this week and just looking for any basic info or maybe something that would give me some leverage when it comes time to negotiate. Any help is appreciated.

From what ive noticed while just searching for a car, the ES can usually be bought for a couple grand cheaper than the equivalent IS. Throw in the fact that the dealer is going to be giving you trade in value, you may have to find something like an 06 with 80k miles. Just my 2 cents. Good luck tho! You will be much happier with an IS.

I doubt you'll be able to get a straight trade for an IS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember reading somewhere the IS keeps it's value much better than the ES. Here in Chicago, there's not too many IS250s and especially IS350s available for sale but there's loads of ES350s for sale and on the road. From searching, I noticed the ES with similar miles and year, it's about $1000 cheaper than an IS250. I doubt you'll find an IS350 for the same price as what your ES350 is worth. If you're going to trade it in, you'll probably need to pay another $2000-3000 for an IS and then taxes. Try selling it yourself for the price you're going to pay for an IS and see if anyone's interested.

Give me the specs on your car: VIN, Navi? ML? Other features? Exact mileage? I work at a dealer, I'll give you a round about price through DealerTrack.
