I am getting all my research together for a big project and I wanted to see if anyone knew if the IS250/250 Transfer case and diff was the same exact one in the IS-F. I would like to think the IS-F has LSD as well as a stronger gearbox in the case to hold up better to the power of the IS-F but can't find anything on it. Can anyone shed some light on this...........? Thanks

The IS F doesn't have a transfer case (RWD only). If you are referring to the transmission, it is not the same. ISx50 is an A760/960 6-speed, and the IS F uses the AA80 8-speed setup.
The IS250 has a 205mm rear differential, the IS350 and IS F use a 208mm rear differential. They are quite a bit different, and the rear subframes are different as a result.

So...if I wanted to throw an OEM IS350/IS-F Rear diff in my 250. It wouldnt line up due to different sub frame...? I'm asking because I am doing the 2JZ swap and want to know if my stock rear end will hold 450ish ....and if it couldnt I was going to swap out to the IS-F.

You'd either need the IS350/IS F rear subframe or you'd need to somehow modify yours.
I would think the IS250 rear diff should be able to hold the power anyways (if you put an LSD in, especially), as it's the same size that is used in the A70 Supra, which many people have put that much power through. If you're going to do anything custom, I'd try to put a 220mm A80 diff in there though, for the most power handling capability. For bolt-in higher-power capability though, you'd want to look into the IS350/IS F rear end and subframe, I'd think.
