Sounds like you should look elsewhere. An experienced tinter can do them without removing the panels. I had my IS350 and my wife's IS250 done, by a shop for $275 each for all windows including a 6in. brow on the the windshield.

Just had my windows done with 20% all around and limo tint on the sunroof. Paid $190, the guy did say it was a pain to do the front windows. He told me he wasted a few pieces of tint doing them, but eventually got it.

Why would tinting portions of the glass that you will never see be the "right way to do it"? If you ask me, I don't want anyone pulling apart my door panels for any reason that isn't absolutely necessary. I had mine tinted for $175, came out perfect with no need to pull off the panels.

I'd find another shop that knows what they are doing. There is absolutely no legitimate reason to pull off the door panels to tint our windows.

Same here.. Paid about $140 and they removed the door panels. I was able to roll my windows down right away. No need to wait X amount of days.

3 years later. The tint is holding up without any problems.

If you wanna be legal you can't put tint there anyway so no worries. If you want to get the front one tinted still call Best Image like the other guy suggested. I've had 2 cars tinted there. Came out good.

I agree....like I said, he was cool about it and was just stating "company policy" and explained to me why he wouldn't do it.

I will check them out. I went to this shop first out of convenience, since it is close to where I live. Thanks.

Got mine done for $300. 3M ceramic something with lifetime guarantee. Anyway, after he did it, the installer said these IS's were hard to do the front windows cuz of the tweeter. But if he haz enuff skillz its possible without taking off the door panels. In fact, he did my driver side 3 times lol. First cuz there was a piece of dirt in it, 2nd time cuz I accidentally rolled it down before it dried.
