Anyone know if there's any fake Luminics bulbs floating around? I just received the 9005 Luminics JDM Yellow bulbs in the mail but the package looks different. The car is also not the same. I want to run these as my DRL but at the top left it says 65W/140W.

I bought them from eBay and the guy had a good feedback rating. I even asked him if these are 100% authentic and he said yes.

Its authentic, just new packaging. Let us know how you like the yellow color, I certainly didn't.

I'm happy with my Putco's.

Not to be glib, but asking an eBay seller if the product they've described as authentic is actually authentic is not going to be very helpful...

eBay is a great place to buy some things, and not so much others, specifically products known for having a rampant knockoff market (like branded bulbs).

Thanks! I just e-mailed the seller and he said the exact same thing about new packaging. How come you didn't like the Luminics? I was trying to decide between the Luminics and Putco but I couldn't find anyone with Putco as DRL.

First I pick up the Luminics for my fogs but the new batch don't have the deep yellow color anymore so I went with the Putco's. Liked their deep yellow color and got another set for my DRL.

I'm also running the Putco Jet Yellow for my fogs. Do you have any pictures of your DRL with the Putco?
Here is a picture of my DRL with Luminics. It's so much better than stock.

^ Its was hard to capture the deep yellow color. I'm very happy with the Putco Jet Yellow.
