'06-'08 Upper Grille That Matches OEM Lower?

'06-'08 Upper Grille That Matches OEM Lower?
Does it exist? I'm aware of the IS-F style grille that has excellent fitment (discussed here), but the IS-F style mesh is different from the '06-'08 OEM lower grille, which is best described as honeycomb in design.
I've seen this grille on eBay, but when I ordered it, it fit like crap (I bought one that was supposedly for the '06-'08 2IS, but the pictures used are the same). There's also the Blitz grille which has good fitment, but the mesh doesn't match. I could also get LX-Mode uppers and lowers, but I actually prefer the honeycomb design.
So, any ideas?

Carson Tuned is close, but the mesh doesn't match:
It was just way off. Maybe it fits in '09-'10 2IS's better. The holes don't line up, there is a 1 cm gap on the bottom, etc.
Me too. Sigh.
That's what DarkDuke did (2nd post of this thread). The fitment is a little off since it's custom, and I'd prefer to have a smaller mesh on the top (but the same pattern). I know, I'm picky.

One idea I had is to take the Blitz grille and then customize a honeycomb grille into it, which is fairly easy since Blitz holds the mesh in with metal hooks. I'm worried that the curvature will make it look funny though, cause gaps, etc.. I have thought about using the IS-F lower mesh like you said, but think it would be pretty difficult to execute. Meh.

I'm with you brociuz, i will probably just end up getting the ISF grill but that would've been one of my first purchases if the mesh matched the lower. I guess it's still better than the oem.

I was just thinking about upper/lower grilles yesterday. I'm currently debating between just keeping my stock grille (with CF emblem inserts), going IS-F style (painting it gunmetal then adding CF emblem inserts), going LX-Mode upper/lower, or going with some kind of custom mesh.

i've been actually working on this for a couple of weeks since no one wants to buy my grille!
fyi, the oem lower grille is too small to fit in the blitz grille... might need to cut two of them and glue them together or look for generic honeycomb sheets
