What warranty are you referring to?
You'll have the remainder of the 4yr/50k bumper to bumper warranty, which is probably expired because of the 4 years already though. You'll also have the remainder of the 6yr/70k powertrain warranty. Warranty maybe 100k on the powertrain if valve spring recall is done (not sure if this is transferable, i believe it is)

thanks for the info about the warranties. does the 6yr/70K warranty follow the vehicle even though i'm buying private party? so, for example, if the cam problem pops up, i can just bring my new car into a dealer and tell them that its under warranty? or will they automatically know based on the VIN?
thanks man! sorry, i'm a lexus newb!

sorry, someone asked earlier in the thread about a warranty.

I'd say it's a good deal. I paid 23.5k for my '06 CPO IS250 back in July. Depends on where you live though. Where I'm at the color I wanted (SGM) with the options that I needed it was the only one I could find so I went for it. I don't feel like I overpaid because I got what I wanted and am very happy with the car. I'd say go for it, you'll love driving the IS.

thanks all!
picked the car up on saturday. tungsten 2007 IS350 47,000 miles. luxury package, park assist, headlight washers, nav. the only thing it doesnt have is the ML system. the guy also threw in a set of rear bridgestone potenza's with about 10K miles on them. extensive service records...recalls done, center dash squeak repaired, new brakes/rotors at 45K.
$23,000. from the looks of it, i did pretty well
