Greetings all!
I've done a great bit of research and test driving and came to the conclusion that many of you here did! I'm getting an IS350.
I settled on a 2007 IS350 with Luxury package (with Nav, 18's, park assist). The car has 45K on it and has been extremely well maintained (I checked on Lexus.com under the vehicle's VIN). Tires are fairly new and brakes and rotors were just put on.
I was able to get the price to $23,000. Is that a fair deal?
Thanks all!

I'd post the listing and pics. But start here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-threads.html
Inspect the car carefully for all the common issues items listed in that thread, and check the dealer service history that the relevant TSIBs have been performed.
I bought my 2007 IS350 back in January. It had luxury package, nav, black on tan, optional 18" ISP wheels, park assist, and 56k miles (so basically very similar to yours), except it was CPO. The final price was $24,500. Considering CPO adds $1-2k to the price of a car, I'd say yours is right in line with what I got mine for. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Is it from a Lexus dealership?

thanks all! i will be picking it up sometime next week!
i do not think the warranty is transferable. its a private party deal. while the service records seem to be impeccable on lexus.com and all recall work seems to have been done, i do not see that any of the TSIBs mentioned were done. is this something of which i should be concerned?

I'd only be concerned at this point about the dash rattle TSIB, since that'll be out of pocket for you if it occurs. Check whether the dash rattles on the test drive. As far as the cam gear TSIB, that's covered by powertrain warranty which will run you another 25k miles.

You'll have the remainder of the 4yr/50k bumper to bumper warranty, which is probably expired because of the 4 years already though. You'll also have the remainder of the 6yr/70k powertrain warranty. Warranty maybe 100k on the powertrain if valve spring recall is done (not sure if this is transferable, i believe it is)
