Only cars without nav have the compass in the mirror. Perhaps your 2011 has nav, but the 2010 didn't? My 2011 (without nav) has the compass in the mirror.
Jeff
Thanks jeff, no i have nav in both cars. I swore though i could readily see a compass somewhere in my lex but i often mistake it for my silverado's mirror. But seriously....I believe my 2010 had a compass in the mirror. probably not though.
I look at the clock everyday and don't notice its green. I didn't know that my car didn't have compass in the rearview anymore either LOL Never used it when I had it
Not to hijack this thread, but I also notice 2011 has silver accents on the steering wheel on the left and right side middle, where the buttons are located. Mine are black, but the silver blends well with the center console and everything else.
does anyone know the PN for them? I assume they will fit a 2006?

They do fit. Hoovey2411 did it in his car. I don't have the PN's handy.
They should fit just fine, part number is 84250-53130 for manual transmission models, 84250-53140 for automatic transmission models. All 2011's have Bluetooth though, so if your 06 doesn't have nav, they probably won't work for you.
..Lexus got "cheap" when it came to designing the clock? I mean, I Love my IS, but every time I look at the digital clock it reminds me of my Dad's old 1985 Nissan Maxima. Even my 12 year old son mentioned that the clock looks "out of place". I'm just saying...lol
While I'll admit that the clock looks cheap, the thing that irks me is that it has to be set manually. The navigation system already knows the correct time, as it is broadcast by the GPS satellites.

My 2006 car has both navigation and the compass in the rear-view. I don't think they eliminated the compass in nav-equipped cars until the 2011 model year.

Horsecrap... I knew my 2019 had a compass and my 2011 doesn't... I'm kind of bummer now. I actually liked having that.
New GS's clock, I hope to see those in the rest of the models.
I like the styling of that new GS clock; however, I had an Infiniti with the analog clock and didn't like it.
Maybe Lexus could offer both - having a dressy analog as an option..

Seems like everybody say that. But lets face it, there are only to types of a clock: digital or analog, and you can't get fancy with the digital one.
Also majority of cars have digital clocks, and everyone hates only the one that lexus has
