I like the digital clock, to me its kinda cool that the same basic clock design has been in so many toyotas from my friends 88 supra to my old 96 land cruiser and now in my 06 IS

I would really like to change how blurry (or the lack of clarity) the clock lens is. It makes me feel like I need reading glasses or something.

The climate control/radio displays on cars without nav are much worse than the clock is, in my opinion.

I wonder if you could pop off the clock lens, polish it until that stupid red hue is gone then apply a light grey tint. Crystal clear and a hint of grey to match interior.

That was the reason they changed the clock for 09, to get rid of the red hue. The result was the green clock.

You won't be able to polish the red hue away either, since the plastic itself is red, it will always be there.

Personally, I am not a fan of analog clocks, but I don't care much for the 2IS clock either. There are some newer Lexus models that have a much nicer clock, like the HS250h and CT200h.
