Ok I ordered these dynamate square rubber thingies that are suppose to be installed behind the sub
I have spare dynamate should I lace the walls with dynamate?
^^he always beats me to answering these audio comments
Sorry bro.....guess that's why I was asked to be a moderator. Always on here and trying to help. You've helped me out too so that's what it's all about.
Those squares are quite old school. And kind of pointless. A well built subwoofer box wouldn't need dynamat to stop vibrations. I.e. that company used thin MDF or just have a terrible build. A well built box can use some stuffing to help bass response and produce a cleaner sounding bass.

my comment wasn't meant to be hateful; more like admiration
The rubber squares from Dynamat aren't particularly used for being put behind subwoofers. Generally behind door speakers I think. Dynamat within the enclosure will actually make it sound worse if your sub has given specifications for internal air space volume. You should find another spot for it... Like above the lining under you trunk lid to dampen vibration.
