17 inch stock AWD wheels on RWD MT car
I have a manual transmission car, and have the opportunity to pick up a non-staggered set of stock 17 inch AWD wheels with winter tires. Will this work? Will it look ok?
Thanks

For 17" wheels, the wheels for both RWD/AWD are all 17x8.0", so there is no issue.
Just for RWD, you should be running on staggered tire sizes: 225/45/R17 front, 245/45/R17 rear.

These would be 235 on all 4 corners. Not ideal, but should work ...

I run non-staggared 235s for my summer setup and 225s for my winters.
I wanted narrow winters for better rain and snow grip.

They'd be just fine. When you bought new tires in the future you could always get the larger RWD 245/45R17's instead of the stock AWD size.
If you do run the AWD sizes, you can do full tire rotations, however I find the rear tire looks a bit small on AWD's.
