Hey guys, I am looking to buy a new set of rims possibly. I saw this car on craigslist and the guy told me he was willing to sell the rims separately, he said to make him an offer. http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/2671559324.html

how much would you guys offer, I do not know the condition or anything of the rims and tire tread, but assuming they are okay...what would be a good offer? and, these appear to be the rims from an is 250/350, right?

imo: if your car didn't come with these rims dont bother getting a different set of 'stocks'... save up and get something different, the aftermarket rim world is HUGE~

for some reason, I always prefer the look of stock rims. I like these ones because they are still stock but different.

Not saying to be saying it but I know 2 guys with those rims on 2IS... and it aint pretty at all, whether it is in person or in pictures...

If the tires are shot...i'd only give him about $500 considering you'd have to spend about another $400 in tires...if the whole package is in good shape, I'd prob offer upwards of $6-700

I would warn anyone to be careful when buying used rims. Tell the seller you want to have them inspected before you make the purchase. I just traded for a set of G37 rims on my 250. Wheels looked great and we made the trade. After I left the guy's house my car was shaking terribly. Long story short....I had to spend $250 to have 2 of them straightened. All is well now and the car is smooth as glass but I spent more than I wanted to.

gspiders dont look bad on the IS imo people put them on SC430s too, I just sold my chrome stocks with sensors and tires locally for about 900 so if these arent in great condition and the tires arent good then 400-500 max if the tires are in good condition 600-800 but trade him yours and offer him 400 and go from there.
