rear windshield isnt defrosting
so here in ny we've had some erratic weather conditions the past couple of days, and ive noticed that when it was snowing/hailing/raining, my rear windshield wasnt defrosting. is there a way of checking to see if something is wrong? i was thinking of taking it to the dealer since its still under warranty, and its CPO.
ive tried searching the forum as well, only got results for LS and SC models
and before you ask what IS i have please look at signature.
thanks!

I just checked the manual for my car on Lexus' website and it listed two fuses that control the rear window defogger. The covers for all of the fuse boxes have maps that tell you what each fuse is for, so you will be able to confirm which one it is that way.
1) Fusebox under the hood. It is next to the battery. Position 23 - 50 Amps.
2) Driver side panel (under the steering wheel). Position 18 - 10 Amps.
If a fuse is the problem it's probably going to be #1, the fuse I listed as #2 has a bunch of other crap tied to it that you would probably notice wasn't working anymore if it was out.

^Yep, I was gonna say had anyone previous had tint in that car and had it removed? If so, they probably broke the defroster lines across the back. After so many get "broken" the circuit isn't complete and it doesn't defrost. If you have a multimeter you can check to see if the contacts on the rear window are getting power. If not, probably a fuse. If they are, then the lines have been broken.

well from the looks of it, it doesnt look like they were severed or damaged.. would there be another explanation? is there a fuse that connects to the circuit board under the steering wheel i can check?
