08 IS350 did some search through the board and found this.

Is this the wiring diagram for my amp so I can tap into the wires when setting up my
my sub?

Or does anybody have the synmatics for the OEM amp Non ML system?

When I did my subwoofer wiring, this is the diagram I referred to. Subwoofer wires are brown(+) green(-), pink(+) blue(-). They're found on the 3rd connector from the back of the car (for my 06 non-ML non-navi). I only hooked up the brown and green.

If you choose to hook up the front woofers also, they're white(+) red(-), and brown(+) pink(-). Those set of wires are found on the 1st connector from the back of the car.

My memory is a bit vague, so I'm not 100% certain on the locations, but from what I remember, that diagram was accurate.

A non ML system as only 2 subs?
One in the back behind the passenger
and the other on the front dash board?

Only 1 subwoofer... on the back deck, but 2 woofers in the front doors... The one on the front dashboard is not a woofer.. on a ML system it is a front center channel for surround sound... I'm not sure if it is used at all on a non-ML system but I'm sure someone on here can tell you...

If I was on my computer, I'd post the actual diagram, but can't really do it from iPhone. It's in another thread on here though. Try searching for it. It's labeled something like "checking wiring for sub/amp install" or something to that effect.

The front channel housing is empty on a non-ML. The non-ML subwoofer has 4 wires connecting to it because it is a dual voice coil. You don't need both set of wires. They are identical in signal, so you just need to tap one of them.

i believe that is from my old thread. i received that from JL. and yes that is for non ml with navi. although these were assumed to be correct, i did double check wires and phases. make sure it works for you before soldering
