you're right, I should've bought two low profiles. the local. shop guys said these Sumit Racing ones would work...they were wrong, obviously.
My intention was to install two cutouts before the 2nd cats but there just was no room. instead, i deleted the resonator and installed one cutout in it's place.
As you can hear (or can't hear) in the video, there's a difference in sound at low to med rpm range but not much between the cutout valve open and closed at full throttle, mainly due to resonator delete I'm assuming...IMO.

Also not all Hondas sound raspy, I've gotten a lot of compliments on my exhaust note on my integra than again it has a Greedy 4-2-1 header, hi-flow cat and an HKS cat back exhaust.

ok, this serves no purpose on an IS250 which is not boosted and needs back pressure. All you are going to do when u open up the e-cutout is make your car run lean and make noise and not move anywhere.

True, my intention wasn't to go any faster, although, it'd be a plus if any speed/accel gains were present.
I was going to put my stock headers back in and possibly my stock exhaust as well...you know, for quiet date drives and such. e-cutouts for when I wanna hear the rumble. Just the options of sound at the flip of a switch is luring for most, at least true in my case.
Not to mention the is250 is about 1 3/4 tons with little over 200hp to lug around. Fast? Don't think so.
