I've downloaded an app onto my smart phone that supposedly measures dbs. I have yet to use it on the stock 2IS (non-ML).

I had to get out of the audio game myself; thanks to it I've got 50% hearing loss.

I know that old skool Precision Power (PPI) amps pushing 1/2 ohm loads were the shiznit! My friend had one of these in his Town Car making ludacris noise! Looked like one of these :

 

Mine produces 38 db when idle.. and 60db when cruising 60mph... I love the quietness :P

I got out the stereo game but I had a astro van with 15 12w6 woofers in a wall and 8 8inch jl woofers in the front doors . back in the day . I had 5 of these ppi amps for my woofers in the wall and 5 more smaller ppi amps for my door woofers and highs. Spent crazy money to barely win any money. I might have broken even lol.

in my first gen IS i did a 141.9 using a Phoenix Gold Elite 12d with 800 watts at 29hz..

this car was a low bass monster.
